Baseball Power Rankings

METHOD OF SEEDING / POWER RATING SYSTEM

All Teams are seeded by the following formula:

Only League contests count towards the Baseball Power Rating System.

5 points for each win

1 times the winning percentage of the teams you beat for each win times 10

The winning percentage of the other teams in your league (take yours out) times 5

Add all three numbers and divide by the scheduled number of league games.

This will yield your seeding score which will be compared to the other teams in your classification to determine seeding position.

Note: D1 Teams that play an independent schedule and are not members of a league, will count all contests played to established their rankings for the playoffs (9.4.20)
